A Fishkeepers Dream: Apistogramma Trifasciata

This week I wanted to share my experience of breeding these beautiful Apistogramma Trifasciata and show you some of the video footage of the fry at various stages of the process. Breeding these fish has been really enjoyable, and watching multiple generations of them grow up safely in the same tank has been fascinating.

As a result, I've bought a couple of extra breeding tanks for the fishroom rack, and will be starting to breed a few other things. Let me know what you think I should try next?

I love my aquariums, relaxing in front of a stunning aquarium, enjoying my aquarium fish and listening to chilled music. I don't have a shark tank just yet, only a basement full of Dennerle Scapers Nano Tanks. My YouTube journey was initially inspired by the King of DIY, George Farmer, and more recently MD Fish Tanks. However, if you asked who I want to be most like - there's only one FishTube superstar in my mind, the awesome Cinescaper with his beautiful cinematic tutorial style and stunning videography and cinematography. If I could learn to use my camera and edit half as well as he does, I'd be a happy man.

What does the future hold? One day I would love a terrarium, to own an ADA aquarium, to fully master the art of aquascaping all the nature aquarium styles, to understand plants and fertilization in much greater detail, and to find that one unique idea that would rival Cinescapers Lost World Aquarium.

Finally, if someone could find me an affordable copy of The Nature Aquarium by Takashi Amano, my aquarium journey would be complete!
