Two years ago, six lives were taken, and countless others were forever changed. This week, we’ve shared stories of those impacted by The Covenant School shooting—like Katy Dieckhaus, who lost her daughter Evelyn, and Abby McLean, whose three children survived but now live with deep trauma.
Safer TN was born out of one tragedy, but our mission extends far beyond that day. We work to prevent the next crisis—whether it’s a rural farmer in despair, a youth carrying a gun out of fear, or a child who finds an unsecured firearm. We stand with grieving parents, guardians, and communities, and we are committed to building a safer Tennessee.
