So here are my top tips on How To Wear 1 MAJE Skirt 5 Ways | make the most of ONE item, the PARISIAN way.


I bought this stunning MAJE skirt - I saw it in the window in Passy, Paris near where I live here in Paris. I kept my eye on it for the sales, and I managed to get it for half price! There's something about, it's a great length, has a high waist (which is good for my body shape - high waisted, short torso, and long legs), and there are pockets. The texture is kind of like foam, so it really doesn't crease and it means the skirt billows out and doesn't lose it's fabulous skater style billowing, that I love.


I had bought it for a wedding in Manchester (where I come from) and I dressed it up with a very fancy top. It then sad in my closet for ages, but I wanted to wear it in a more casual way, so I pulled out various tops from my closet and had a bit of fun with it, twirling around in my Parisian apartment. I may be 54, but I'm yet too old for dancing around, age is really just a number.



I turned into a streestyle outfit with various tshirts and shirts, it's such a versatile skirt you wear it with hundreds of different styles. I always wear white trainers with this skirt if I'm going for casual Parisian chic and Paris streetwear.


I hope you find my PARISIAN lifestyle interesting, I am 54, from Manchester and have lived in Paris for 17 years (in the 16th arrondissement). I grew up in Prestwich (Manchester, UK), have also lived in London (Hendon) for 5 years, 5 years in Jerusalem, and 2 years in Manhattan in the UWS, before finally making it to PARIS at the ripe old age of 37.

I came here single, with just ONE suitcase....just for info ONE thing you HAVE to know about Paris...it's a rollercoaster of emotions, LOTS of tough times, BUT in return you get to see the beauty of this sumptuous city every, single day, and that brings me oh so much joy!
