In this video, I am going to show you how to zero-gap your hair clipper in very simple steps. What you need in this tutorial are basically a screw driver, a brush, disinfectant, clipper oil, and of course hairclipper. So for the very first step you gonna need to unscrew right here. Make sure to not lose these screws. Put your top blade on the side and brush your moving blade also known as cutting blade. It's nice to do this once in a while so that you can keep your clipper clean and remove all the excess hair in the clipper. Do the same thing for your top blade as well. Before we are putting back on the blades together I want to disinfect my blades so that it is sanitized. Okay now is the main part. We are gonna put back the blades together but when you do this make sure your lever is all the way closed like this otherwise it's hard to know if you zero gapped or not. Basically put on your top blade like this and screw them back and screw it until it's slightly tight yet you can still move your top blade when you put little force to it. When I say zero gapped that means moving blade like the smaller blade is very very closed to the top blade when the lever is closed all the way. But you need to leave little bit of space between the top blade and moving blade because otherwise you are going to hurt yourself or your client or whoever's hair you are cutting. So leave some space. Also make the blade as straight as possible otherwise it will jam some hair and also hurt yourself. Once you think it's good enough, tighten the screw all the way without moving the blade so press the blade together so it wont move and screw as tight as possible. When you are done, try to press it on your inner arm skin because it is very sensitive part and you can check if your blade is too sharp or not. Apply some clipper oil at the end and you are ready to use this awesome clipper.
