Fixing my underprocessed relaxed hair by doing a corrective relaxer at home to maintain healthy relaxed hair (corrective relaxers)

In the past I did a corrective relaxer next day after my relaxer but this time I did my corrective relaxer 2 weeks later. Some do a corrective relaxer on texlaxed hair for relaxed hair. This is not a corrective relaxer tutorial but many want to know how to fix underprocessed relaxed hair or how to do a corrective relaxer to fix a bad relaxer (relaxer gone wrong). I'm showing you what I did.

Depending on your hair texture you will have to figure out how to deal with underprocessed hair as those sections can break off. To decide on how long you should wait to do a corrective relaxer you would have to access the areas that didn't take. If it's close to the scalp them you might need to wait a week or two but if it is along the length of the hair, it can be done on the same day as a relaxer retouch, at least that is what I did.

If your relaxer didn't take or if your hair isn't taking you can try using another brand of higher strength relaxer and try getting a corrective relaxer. Try doing a porosity treatment the week or two before your relaxer such as deep conditioning with the Roux Rejuvenating Porosity Control Corrector and Conditioner followed by a moisturizing conditioner.
