Panasonic launched the world's first Mirrorless interchange-able lens camera, they pioneered the innovation and technology pushing forward imaging boundaries. For a period of time, Panasonic Micro Four Thirds ruled the world. However, recent data suggests a rapid decline in sales, and Micro Four Thirds made up barely 5% of the total market share (combined between Panasonic and OM Digital Solutions). What happened to Panasonic? Why did the initial success not last?
