Sony a7 IV Launch Event in Singapore | Alpha 7 IV | A7M4

Check out highlights from Sony Singapore's exclusive launch event for the Alpha 7 IV (or ILCE-7M4, A7M4), the latest full-frame hybrid camera in the Sony Alpha line-up. The 3-day event offered photographers with three experience zones to discover the new features and upgraded capabilities of the camera.

It was a very well-organised event given the current situation, with group size limits and pulsing sessions (15 mins max) in each zone. This is just a summary of my experience - using both test photos and - for the first time, video - shot on the Sony Alpha 7 IV.

NOTE: While the A7M3 was my main camera for the last 3 years, 99.9% of the time it was used for photography. I need to learn more about the A7M4 as the video modes, settings and formats are different. Also unfortunately I wasn't able to test S&Q mode properly as my SD card (first-gen Sony SF-G UHS-II) wasn't fast enough to support it. Much to learn with every new camera!
