Segment A:
Behind the Dream - Palmyra High School honors former graduate Clarence B. Jones for his achievements in civil rights history. History teacher Dan Licata inspired his students to research the former graduate, and as a result, the school is dedicating a library in Jones' name. The 86-year-old attorney is the former personal counsel, advisor, draft speech writer and close friend of Martin Luther King Jr. He is a Scholar in Residence at the Martin Luther King Jr. Institute at Stanford University.
Segment B:
Soles4Souls - First and third graders from Osage School in Voorhees may have special needs, but their charitable spirit inspires the entire school. Caitlin Peluszak's class collects shoes to help the disadvantaged. The shoes are donated to Soles4Souls, a non-profit that creates sustainable jobs and provides relief through the distribution of shoes and clothing around the world. The organization was founded in 2006 and has distributed more than 30 million pairs of shoes in 127 countries.

Segment C:
Bringing Nature to Kids – First and fourth grade students at Kresson Elementary in Voorhees experience a personal and meaningful connection to nature that exists around the school. The students plant and maintain the field that attracts birds and creates an environmental classroom. Students apply research strategies to develop and maintain a species database that future participants can use and build on.
Segment D:
Hillside's Meadows and Trails – Twenty years ago, Hillside Intermediate School in Bridgewater laid out the first wheelbarrow of wood chips that would eventually become an amazing outdoor learning environment. Each year alumni return to work side-by-side with students and staff to care for and grow the trails that left a lasting impression on them. This year, the school community came together to celebrate the 20th anniversary of this special place.
