Director Statement
Present Still Perfect, the sequel to Present Perfect, wasn’t something I originally planned to make. In fact, I had no intention of continuing the story. But the demand from fans was overwhelming—everyone kept saying, "You can’t leave us with that ending!" So, I decided to create Present Still Perfect. I launched a crowdfunding campaign to give people the chance to be part of the film’s creation. Once we had enough budget, I went ahead and made it happen. At first, I was really nervous. I had envisioned the true ending to the story since the first film, but I didn’t dare to make it back then. People always told me it was impossible, unrealistic, even foolish. But this time, I decided to go for it—because it’s what the fans wanted.

When Present Still Perfect was released, the response blew me away. It became the most-watched project in my entire career, a milestone I never expected. It’s a reminder that sometimes, trusting yourself and listening to your audience can lead to incredible results.
