Yet many don't know ...Jesus CREATED THIS WORLD. The Bible, Gods Holy book, describes Jesus and the Creator and Savior of the world. He created man with a free will to choose to believe and choose to follow Jesus. But man has sinned and alienated himself from the presence and knowledge of God.
Jesus made it possible for man to regain a relationship with the Holy God of Heaven. How? By taking upon himself the penalty of sin, not his but our sins. its our sin that separates us from God so Jesus was punished for our sins so we could be forgiven. Crimes cannot go without punishment, even in our judicial system we under stand that. A criminal must pay for his or her crimes. Murderers, Thief's, Extortioners, Child abusers, etc, must be punished. Likewise in Gods kingdom Sin must be punished. Jesus took upon himself to take our punishment out of Love for us. He is our substitute.
