Disasters can pose significant challenges for artists and creative professionals, impacting their tools, materials, spaces and livelihoods. This session provides practical strategies to help artists prepare for and respond to emergencies, ensuring they can protect their work and sustain their practices during times of crisis.
Learn how to develop tailored disaster preparedness plans, secure valuable art and equipment, and access resources for recovery and resilience. The session will also highlight ways artists and cultural organizations can support their communities during recovery efforts through creativity and advocacy.
