Everyone will notice that the end point is right back at the point I started this morning. I was convinced by a fellow bikepacker that the road up to Kasi Summit would be a 10 hour struggle. He already arranged a ride to the Summit for one million Kip, so I agreed to split the fare. The taxi was actually The Guesthouse owner and she would not budge from 900,000 Kip each.
I'm going to say it's dark at 5 am, because it is, and I'm also going to say there's no cell signal at the summit, because there isn't. So after a delicious breakfast, I snapped a few photos and hit the road...IN THE WRONG DIRECTION
