After last week’s thriller, I’m heading straight back to iRacing GT4 action today for the Falken Tyre Challenge. I gained several positions last time out, and I’ll need to do it again here at Okayama after a disastrous qualifying session — I’ve not had chance to practice for this one, so I’ve jumped in cold and blew my two flying laps.
The second lap, I at least managed to keep it on the track while spinning, but my lap time is 10 seconds slower than any other time set. I’m starting from P21 on a grid of 25, so my only hope is for carnage further ahead — and with iRacing online multiplayer racing, that’s always a possibility!
