Here is my experience with getting a pacemaker. Everyone's experience will differ, but hopefully this and other videos can help you figure out what to expect if you are in the same position I was prior to 2015. Having a pacemaker has only helped my life, and has not limited it in any way. Below are timestamps for each section:

I had the initial implant in 2015. In 2018 I had it moved under the muscle. In 2020 as a result of having EDS, I had to have it repositioned again and due to battery life being just under what they require to replace it, it was replaced with a new one and repositioned back under the muscle.
