Thankyou to the owners for allowing my visit to this extremely historic site. A site that really really should be saved. Of all the places I have visited and photographed over the years, this really is top 5! Visitors are not welcome due to vandals and trespassers.
Walking through this amazing building, I found myself surrounded by ops staff and squadron commanders, plotting, TX'ing, RX'ing and directing the strike wing operations. The hairs on the back of my neck and on my arms standing proud.
Please read the history of this station online and in books. Amazing. Please someone save this place, so it can be preserved for our children and theirs.
