STEPS
1.   Determine which Visa category suits the purpose of your trip. 
2. Go to the embassy website ( https://www.vfsglobal.com/Netherlands...) to look for the checklist under the visa type that you choose.
3. Complete the requirements

5. Submit your application to VFS - You will have your biometric and you would need to pay the Visa fee.
6. Track your application and Wait for the result.

The standard documents required for a Netherlands Visa---

1. A completed and signed Netherlands visa application form. In most cases, you can download one from the embassy’s website
2. 2 photos must be attached; the photo should be in passport format – a recent whole-face capture with a light background.
3. Your passport and copies of your previous visas – valid for at least 3 months beyond the return date – are required. Your passport must have at least two blank pages.
4. Flight itinerary reservation with dates and flight numbers specifying entry and exit from the Netherlands
5. A copy of your return-ticket reservation. It is not recommended to purchase the ticket before obtaining the visa – if not otherwise required
6. Complete the Travel itinerary. This includes a travel reservation on your name to the Schengen area and back. It is not an airplane ticket.
7. Travel Visa Insurance confirmation of a minimum 30,000 € coverage within the Netherlands and the entire Schengen area

8. A cover letter stating the purpose of a visit to the Netherlands and an itinerary
9. Proof of accommodation for the whole duration of the intended stay in the Netherlands
10. Proof of sufficient financial means

11. Proof of Civil Status-  (marriage certificate, birth certificate of children, death certificate of spouse, )
12. Proof you will return to your country after your visit. This could be an employment contract, a declaration from your employer, a document that proves you or your children (if you are a parent) are attending school in your country, or a document that proves you own property in your country.

13. Evidence of Employment Status.
For employees:
*Employment contract. - COE must include: employer's full name, complete address, telephone number with area code, details regarding the position, income, employment duration
*Current bank statement of the latest 6 months.
*Payslips from the last three months.
*Leave permission from the employer.
*Income Tax Return (ITR) form or Certificate of Income Tax deducted at the source of salary.

For the self-employed:
*A copy of your business license (DTI)
*Mayors or Barangay Business Permit
*Company bank statement of the latest 6 months.
*Income Tax Return (ITR).

For students:
*Proof of enrollment.
*approved letter of absence from your School or University
*photocopy of school ID

For Retirees:
*Pension statement of the latest 6 months.
