Phong Nha Ke Bang Nationa Park is hands down the best place I visited in my whole journey through Vietnam. The beauty of nature and the landscape is unparalleled. The small town offers gourmet restaurants and a few great bars. Just outside the town are great places where locals meet up. The Park itself offers a variety of great nature adventures including its world-famous caves. This video shows the Bong Lai valley which is best explored on bikes! And the best: it appears quite untouristic compared to other popular locations like for example Ninh Binh. Fewer neon signs, more class.
