🔶 Maltepe, Ankara'nın merkezi ilçesi olan Çankaya'ya bağlı bir mahalledir. Şehrin en işlek ve tarihi bölgelerinden biridir. Konumu itibarıyla Kızılay (merkez) ve Tandoğan/Ankara Üniversitesi gibi önemli noktalara çok yakındır. Bölgenin en bilinen yapısı, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti'nin kurucusu Mustafa Kemal Atatürk'ün naaşının 1953'te Anıtkabir'e taşınmasına kadar geçici olarak bulunduğu ve mahalle ile aynı adı taşıyan Maltepe Camii'dir. Ayrıca, Maltepe Pazarı ve birçok kamu kurumuna yakınlığıyla da tanınır. Maltepe, yoğun ticari aktiviteye sahip olup, çok sayıda ofis, iş yeri ve öğrenciye hizmet veren konaklama yerlerini barındırır. Maltepe metro istasyonu ve Tren Garı'na yakınlığı sayesinde ulaşım açısından çok merkezi bir noktadır.

🔶 Maltepe is a neighborhood located in Çankaya, the central district of Ankara. It is one of the city's busiest and most historical areas. Its location places it in close proximity to major points like Kızılay (the city center) and Tandoğan/Ankara University. The most famous structure in the area is the Maltepe Mosque, which shares its name with the neighborhood and where the remains of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk (the founder of the Republic of Türkiye) were temporarily interred until their transfer to Anıtkabir in 1953. It is also known for the Maltepe Bazaar and its closeness to numerous public institutions. Maltepe is characterized by intense commercial activity, hosting many offices, businesses, and accommodations serving students. Its proximity to the Maltepe Metro Station and the main Train Station (Gar) makes it a highly central location in terms of transportation.
