My Dad, Carolyn & I loved being a part of our Church here in Norwich - then called TLC, founded & led by Graham Dacre. It's origins go back to the mid-1990's, when Dr Bob Gordon established his Bible School 'Kerygma' & Church at 'Drayton Hall' here in Norwich. After meeting Dr Gordon, at an Elim Conference I was then playing for, we felt called to move and to join this new move of God. Even though changes have resulted in TLC ending its season here in the City, we ALL still feel connected and deep friendships remain to this day. Here is a beautiful moment, when my Dad (Brian Fitzgerald, then in his mid-80's) was invited by Graham Dacre to share something of his faith and to sing. He is accompanied here on keyboards by our dear and much missed friend and longterm collaborator Roger Mayor. My Dad loved to sing and he loved people, as anyone who ever met him knows! His early years as a singer was with the Royal Choral Society in London and as a 'crooner' (lead vocalist) with Dance Bands in London and Bishop's Stortford, our home town in the 1950's & 60's. In later years he was a member of an excellent team called 'Come Singing', led by visionary & music teacher Heather Edwards. Heather informed us just recently that many still as after Dad. Please look at this organisation, who do such much good for the lives of those with memory loss and for people in need (of all ages): https://www.comesinging.org.uk
