In this lecture we’ll discuss a few issues that we run into occasionally with the ArcGIS Pro raster tools. We’re going to look at issues with geographic rasters, including what happens when we don’t use geodesic methods to analyze them. We’ll look at what a Z-factor is, and when it is appropriate to use. And then we’ll go over some common mistakes people make with neighborhood focal statistics, and wrap up with a quick look at how we can inadvertently make rasters shift position.
