The Hidden World is almost like dynamite to the How To Train Your Dragon fandom. Doesn’t take much for those words to be uttered for a huge explosion and uproar to commence. People either defending the film within an inch of its life, or people calling it the worst cinematic release in history. I would say those are two absolute extremes, and I’ll attest while I wasn’t as passionate I leant more to the second category. I even made a video on it about 2 years ago! However ever since the trailer for the live action film was released I’ve been back aboard the fandom train which I had neglected, and to my surprise the discussion hadn’t died down about this film. I thought it’d been a while since I’d seen it, may as well see what’s so bad about it, and to my surprise I enjoyed myself. It’s not perfect it has flaws, but it’s also not as bad as everyone says and is a perfectly serviceable conclusion. Lots more to discuss of course. Enjoy.
