VHS was the dominant home video format throughout the 80s and into the 90s. People would often rent tapes at places like their local Blockbuster, or they would go out and buy themselves a copy of their favorite films when they were released.

Today there remains a growing army of folks who are VHS tape enthusiasts. In this video we take a look at those VHS tapes that are especially in demand and sought after by collectors.

I bought many movies on VHS tape from the late 80s until the early 2000s. I got my first DVD player in 2002, so it was around that time that I made the switch and started to buy DVDs. I still buy VHS tapes now and then, especially if it is something obscure, rare or just plain hard to find!
