Most black slopes at Serre Chevalier is marked Brut de Neige area meaning raw snow. This i a safe freeride zone which is awsome!

Serre Chevalier has 60 lifts and a total 250km of slopes (13 black, 28 red, 25 blue and 14 green). The skiing area can be reached from four towns in the valley - Briançon, Chantemerle, Villeneuve and Le Monêtier les Bains. Briançon has more than 10.000 inhabitants which is very unique for a ski resort town.
