On the eve of #EltonJohn’s final ever show in Australia, I wanted to share something special. This is a personal tribute video, filmed across three unforgettable Elton John concerts I was lucky enough to attend during the Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour in 2023 — plus some rare footage from back in 2020, before the world changed.

🎥 This #drumcam video is dedicated to the legendary #NigelOlsson — Elton’s longtime drummer and one of my absolute favorite players of all time. A true master of taste and feel, Nigel has been at Elton’s side since 1971, and this footage focuses closely on the rhythm section — Nigel Olsson, percussion maestro Ray Cooper, and bassist Matt Bissonette (formerly John Mahon), capturing their artistry from up close.

🪘 To witness this band live — one of the tightest, most musical live acts on the planet — is a completely different experience from hearing the records. Over 50 years of playing sold-out stadiums... that kind of magic can’t be taught.
