Questions for a Designer with Carolyn, Liv, & Maresa- Women's History Month 2025 Edition

Who inspires you the most?

To mark the end of Women’s History Month this 2025, we took the time to sit down and chat with three young female architectural designers at Marvel to find out about what inspires them, who has influenced them, and how they feel about beginning their careers in design.

Carolyn Wu originally hails from Vancouver Canada and has Master's degrees in both Architecture and Landscape Architecture. Liv Vernon, after graduating and receiving a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia, began her journey at Marvel last summer as one of our architectural interns. At the conclusion of the internship, she joined us full-time. Maresa Amador is one of our most recent hires, she is originally from Miami Florida, and has a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University.
