This is the second video in the series of Refuting Chattampi Swamikal's Book "Kristhumatha Chedanam".

Vedanta, specifically Advaita Vedanta, is often regarded as the highest philosophy by several Hindus, and even by many non-Hindu Indians, not because they have read and understood the Advaita philosophy but because of its high-sounding words, which are considered as impenetrable and beyond the reach of a layman. Jerry Thomas is beginning to break this myth.

As part of the series of responding to Chattampi Swamikal, in this video, Jerry Thomas takes up some of the basics of Vedanta and Advaita Vedanta, and demonstrates that some of the high-sounding basic concepts of Vedanta are absurd than profound. Vedanta and specifically Advaita Vedanta are often felt to be incomprehensible precisely because it is illogical.

(2) Neo Hindus (such as Swami Vivekananda and Shri Rajiv Malhotra’s) rejection of Canon of Vedanta and its consequence

(5) Description of Brahman at the ultimate tier of reality as per Advaita Vedanta

(7) Absurdity of positioning the ignorant one above the omniscient one in the tier of realities in Advaita Vedanta
