This is a video intended to start a conversation about mental health. Keep in mind, this video is prerecorded—it is not monetized. I decided that it was important for me to share my mental health struggles now, and over the years in order to break the stigma surrounding therapy and how important it is to your physical and emotional well-being. Mental health is health. I recorded this video over a week ago and have taken steps to improve my mental well-being and I can say that my emotions do not feel as heavy anymore. I wanted to post it on the day that would make the most impact for mental health in Canada. Today, January 26, is Bell Let’s Talk Day.
