Kris Verburgh imagines a world in which life will be "reprogrammed from the kitchen counter". How? Working directly on the human genome.
Medico, ricercatore presso l’Università libera di Bruxelles, autore specializzato in salute, invecchiamento e sul futuro della medicina e della biotecnologia. Ha creato un nuovo campo scientifico, nutrigerontology, che studia come la nutrizione può accelerare o rallentare l’invecchiamento e le malattie ad essa correlate. Verburgh ha scritto il suo primo libro di scienza quando aveva 16 anni. All’età di 25 anni, ne aveva scritti tre.
Doctor, researcher at the Free University of Brussels, author specializing in health, ageing and the future of medicine and biotechnology. He created a new scientific field, nutrigerontology, who studies how nutrition can accelerate or slow down ageing and its related diseases. Verburgh wrote his first science book when he was 16. At age 25, he had written three.
