Why are fans upset about Loona's mask in Mastermind?

Recently there’s been some discourse surrounding loona, her mask in mastermind, and the role of hellhounds in the show. I think it’s interesting and worth talking about.

So during the episode as we know, all of imp gets restrained, but loona gets a dog muzzle on her mouth.

Beelzebub, who is part hellhound and dates a hellhound, does nothing about this. Mammon as well calls vortex a mutt. So it’s pretty clear that society as a whole doesn’t treat hellhounds very well.

During seeing stars we found out that beelzebub signs certificates for hellhound adoption, and that these institutions are awful. So this is the second time that beelzebub has been a bit oblivious to how hellhounds are treated.

And lastly there was some criticism about loona wearing the muzzle at all, and the fact merch was being sold of it. Some people said this was done as fan service, but that it was odd to monetise something like that.

Personally i can see where people are coming from and i think it shines a different light on her character. The reason bee did nothing was probably because she was scared of satan. But it’s a bit scary to think what would’ve happened if stolas didn’t show up.
