Hi I'm Alina Wang and welcome to Discovering China. We have a special program for you this week. Today, July 20th, marks the anniversary of the Chinese Communist Regime's crack down on the largest spiritual movement in Chinas recent history—Falun Gong.
1. So lets first ask the question, what is Falun Gong?
2. Well Ben Hedges is now in the studio with the producer of an award-winning movie about Falun Gong and the persecution they have faced at the hands of the communist regime.
3. Finally today we are going to take a trip to Washington DC, to speak to one US Falun Gong practitioner who is using music to raise awareness about the plight of Falun Gong in China.
