Donald Trump Announces First Phase of Gaza Ceasefire Deal

Former US President Donald Trump has announced that the first phase of the ceasefire plan between Israel and Hamas has been officially signed.

More than two million Palestinians in Gaza woke up this morning to the news that after two years of devastating bombing, hunger, death and destruction, a new hope for peace has emerged.

The agreement came as a result of several days of important negotiations in Egypt, which were attended by top officials from the United States, Qatar, Egypt and Turkey.

Donald Trump said in a statement released on the social media platform:
“I am proud to announce that both Israel and Hamas have signed the first phase of the peace plan. This means that all hostages will be released soon, and Israel will withdraw its forces. This is the first step towards a strong and lasting peace.”

“This is a historic day for the Arab and Muslim world, for all the nations surrounding Israel, and for the United States,” Trump added. “We thank the mediators in Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey who made this historic agreement possible.”

The news was greeted with joy and hope by the people of Gaza. After two years of bombing and genocide, the Palestinian people took to the streets to thank God for this possible peace.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, “We will not rest until all the hostages are returned. We are grateful for President Trump’s leadership and his unwavering support.”

The agreement lays the foundation for a new peace process in the Middle East.
