[Monty Oum Tribute] RWBY - A New Hope

So, I'm just a big ol' liar I guess. But things happen that you don't expect. Like copyright preventing you from uploading your awesome Legend of Korra amv that you made for New Year's -_- Or, on a much more depressing note, the death of Monty Oum. It's because of this tragedy that I decided to forget what I said in my last video and upload another RWBY amv on this channel.

I used my new program (Corel VideoStudio Pro X7) that I got for Christmas along with Windows Movie Maker. 'Cause as awesome as the new program is, there are things that it either doesn't have or I haven't figured out yet. So it was a combined effort from the two programs. This tribute is probably a little late in the game since Monty died like over a week ago... however I did want to do something in dedication to the man. I've only known his work with RWBY really, but I know he's impacted the lives of many who are familiar with either him or his work. Or both. Hopefully this rather somber amv does his memory some justice.

Now, I'm not gonna promise that I won't ever upload another RWBY video on THIS channel because apparently I'm unable to keep my word on that lol... but I'm gonna do my best to put more of a variety on here again. Which I have in the works, actually. Just a heads up, it's a shorter video than I usually do. I was really bummed back in the first week of January when the video I worked on for like 2 weeks (the longest time I've probably spent on an amv) wouldn't upload for copyright reasons. SO, to prevent my channel's good standing from being destroyed, I decided to give up on uploading my Legend of Korra video. Since then, it's been a bit of a struggle to get myself back into it. I really thought it was pretty good for my first work with a new program... Oh well. Anyway, look forward to seeing that Ookami-san video I talked about like... I dunno how many videos ago. Because I've totally started on it! I promise! And maybe I'll give making a Legend of Korra amv another shot too (*cough* korrasami's canon).
