I made an electronic Venus flytrap. Can it catch flies?

Tired of fruit flies landing on your bananas? I was too, so I built an electronic Venus Fly Trap using the Raspberry Pi and computer vision. In the video, I’ll show you how I created the Venus Pi Trap using simple electronics, an infrared camera, micro servo motors, and some hot glue. I also test it on real fruit flies from my kitchen.
