This H/H came in to my workshop with a nasty loud buzz...and then to my surprise a capacitor fell onto my floor. A vital clue, my dear Watson.
Join me as we test the main filter capacitors for high ESR values and replace the missing caps. We'll then give it a detailed service and check it on the oscilloscope.
The recorded music I'm testing the amp with is the brilliant Robben Ford with my favourite song "Nothing to Nobody". (It seems that I have just learned about Copyright Claims the hard way...sorry Robben).
At the end I will audition the repaired H/H amp using a gorgeous Epiphone Sorrento while I play "So What". Forgive me Miles.
