Ruby with garnet shades, the Carmignano Cru Santa Cristina in Pilli 2017 smells of cherries and undergrowth berries, with notes of violets, licorice and nutmeg. In the mouth is full and very elegant, with velvety tannins and good acidity. On the palate it is really persistent.
Perfect when matched with roasted meat, like Fiorentina, or with typical tuscan cheese, like Pecorino.
