Upcycling a Tie Dress + Glamping in Chicago | Rooftops, White Party & Atlanta Fashion Prep

I’m taking you behind the scenes as I work on an upcycled tie dress that will debut in my upcoming Atlanta fashion show. I’ll show you my thought process on how to clone a dress and make it my own, using thrifted men’s neckties.

In between sewing sessions, I bring you along as I go glamping with the ladies at the Cook County Forest Preserves, enjoy an incredible Brazilian dinner at Sinhá (a hidden gem on Chicago’s West Side), and hit a few rooftops for summer fun—including styling my orange tie bustier top that I wore at the YouTube event.

We’ll wrap things up at a fabulous white party, where I finally get to wear the white thrifted dress we found together during a live thrift haul. And of course, I’ll share the final steps of the tie dress—even if it’s not 100% complete yet!
