If You’re Not Using This Technique, You’re Missing Out | Yakka Fishing

In this video, I fish at La Perouse Wharf, also known as Kamay Wharf in Sydney using the ajing technique. I don’t have a proper ajing rod, but I’m using ajing jigheads and small lures on light gear.

It turned out to be an amazing session. In under four hours I caught over 20 yellowtail and was gifted another 10 by some friendly anglers nearby. I ended up with many yakkas by the end of the day. The weather was great and the whole session had a really relaxing vibe.

If you’re into light tackle fishing or want to see how effective the ajing method can be, even without specialised gear, this is worth checking out. It’s a good example of how much fun you can have fishing local Sydney spots with a simple setup.
