Each hour, 150 people leave Bangladesh to work overseas. But even some of those who used regular migration paths are eventually forced to return.
Abdul Alim (name changed) is one of some 86,000 migrants who returned from different countries to Bangladesh last year. Some return voluntarily, while others are deported.
BRAC, the world's largest development organization, has been providing reintegration support to returnees since 2010. Here's how they helped Abdul Alim in Dhaka, Bangladesh's capital.
