American Top 40 with Casey Kasem was a weekly syndicated radio show that counted down the 40 most popular songs in the U.S. Famed for his warm, personal delivery, Kasem mixed the countdown with artist trivia, biographical stories, and its signature "Long Distance Dedication" segment, concluding with his famous sign-off, "Keep your feet on the ground, and keep reaching for the stars."
