A Victorian Slipper Crochet-Along: Intro and Supplies

Hello and welcome! Today I discuss what will be happening in my Victorian Slipper Crochet-Along, and let you know what supplies you'll need if you want to participate! The links below are to what I'll be using, but if you have other preferred sources for your yarn and other materials, please go ahead and use whatever you'd like!

I will be releasing a written pattern along with the video tutorials. The second video in the series will be posted November 24th, and the third video will go up December 8th.

Supplies:
Yarn: approximately 200 yards total of one or two fingering weight yarns

Hook: 2.75mm / US1 steel hook / US C/2 yarn hook

Leather: for the optional outer sole, 4/5oz Veg tanned, purchased at my local Tandy Leather store, but also available through their website https://tandyleather.com/collections/..., OR
Upholstery weight pleather, available at most sewing stores that carry home favor fabrics, 1/8th yard

Felt: 1/8th yard of 72” wide felt or enough precut sheets to fit 4 sole pieces if not using a leather outer sole, or enough to fit 2 sole pieces of using a separate outer sole ( pattern will be provided next video )
