DEAR LILI, REINDEER KISSES & MAGIC DRUMS

Dear Lili!
In Lapland we went to the Reindeer and Fishing Ranch in Kuusamo and got to ride the reindeer sleigh and feed them .... and they only kill certain reindeer in order to keep the natural balance if the numbers get too big, so it's okay to eat reindeer meat. They will be happy, wild reindeer from Lapland. That just had to be mentioned, so you don't get a shock when you see me eating the reindeer soup.

We also meet a real shaman!! A shaman is a person regarded as a messenger between the human world and the spirit world, basically a wizard or a witch. The shaman typically even enters into trance during a ritual where he drums on his magical drum. The shaman communicates with the spirits on behalf of the community, including the spirits of the dead. So so so interesting!

As part of the Nordic Blogger's Experience (also known as NBE Finland) 2018 I got to go to Finnish Lapland for the very first time! And it was so beautiful I had to take out my vlogging camera and show you again. Winter in Lapland is beyond amazing!
