Redbanagama is an abandoned village that is situated in Riverstone, Matale. It is also known as Knuckles Pathanegama.
Twenty years ago it was an active village. However, today only one house is left for the entire village. The owners of this household prepare village meals for guests who visit the place. A waterfall named “Pathane Ella” is located approximately 2 km from this house.
It is the best place to experience typical Sri Lankan village life with very less technological distractions.
