This short promotional video highlights the performing arts programs available at the College’s Wilson Center for the Arts, including jazz and symphonic band, men’s and women’s choir or mixed chorale, dance repertory or ensemble, and theater performance or technician. It emphasizes that students can get involved immediately, and even if they’re not seeking degrees in these programs., and includes brief comments from jazz band director Matt Vance, theater professor Ken McCulough, technical theater director Johnny Pettegrew, symphonic band director Paul Weikle, dance professor Rosemary Fletcher, and chorale director Wayne Bailey.
This video includes clips from what appears to be the 2004 danceWORKS Spring Dance Concert; the DramaWorks productions of Summer and Smoke (1997), The Laramie Project (2002), and The Winter’s Tale (2004); and multiple unidentified band and chorale performances.
