"Fall Down" was one of Toad the Wet Sprocket's largest hits over the course of their career. While "All I Want" and "Walk on the Ocean" both achieved a higher placement on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, "Fall Down" has the distinction of having reached #1 on Billboard's Alternative Songs chart in June 1994. The song spent six weeks at #1 and garnered the band a nomination for Alternative Song of the Year at the BIllboard Music Awards. Although Toad eventually lost to R.E.M., their performance from the December 7th, 1994 award show can be seen here following an introduction by Dennis Miller.
