This old tool restoration is an old C-Clamp. The person I got them from said he had them for at least 40 year but did not know what they where originally made for. These clamps are extra heavy duty, they appear to be home made and where flame cut from a piece of plate steel. I went a little over the top by polishing the C-Clamp to a high shine and made the handle more functional. With there scalloped clamp design these C Clamps must of had a specific purpose.
