Free camping on the Clarence River doesn't get much better than this. Come and join us as we head to this spectacularly wild and remote beautiful place.
Watch as we set up our Jayco Crosstrak, gather wood for our riverside campfire and cook up some delicious food on our brand-new Weber. We try our hand at some fishing, roast marshmallows on the fire and attempt to make smores and simply just soak up the sound of flowing water and nature with no one else around.
Paddys Flat is located on Crown Land with no facilities. It's a steep winding dirt road to get there, whichever direction you come from.
It was an integral part of Australia's defense during WWII, and you can see the remnants of the tank traps which were originally across the river.
