The CJ Knows Show asks Stacey Hoaglund, President of the Autism Society of Florida, to help us to understand the need for training law enforcement and first responders about autism & neurodiversity. CJ's recent criminal defense of an autistic young man made him aware of the shortfalls and injustices in the justice system primarily from ignorance about autistic individuals. CJ and Czaia Law are on a mission to help educate and raise awareness of the issue.

Stacey Hoaglund is not only a parent of a young man with autism, she is a mediator, an educational advocate with Family Network on Disabilities, past editor of The Autism Notebook Magazine and statewide coordinator for Partners in Policymaking. As a trainer, consultant and interventionist, Stacey provides educational opportunities to parents and organizations on a variety of disability related topics. For more than 20 years she has promoted, enhanced, and advocated for the inclusion of people with ASD from birth to adulthood.
