On December 7th 2019, I rode on the final ever Virgin Trains service on the West Coast Mainline towards London, riding from Wolverhampton to London Euston on the 2109 service arriving at 2333! Plenty to celebrate about as our last train sped down the line through Birmingham New Street, Milton Keynes and Watford Junction as we look back at 22 years of privatisation and Virgin services here in the UK.
I was also featured on TV! Following along with ITV's The Station: Trouble on the Tracks, I got to team up with a group of spotters and record a segment for the closure of this service.
