Many Christians live with a low-grade spiritual anxiety—constantly asking:
“Am I believing enough?”
“Am I growing enough?”
“Am I resisting sin enough?”
“Am I loving enough?”
But 1 John 5:1–12 invites us into a different kind of life. John reminds us that our confidence doesn’t come from the strength of our faith, our obedience, or our resolve—but from the strength, sufficiency, and victory of Jesus Christ.
