A recording test I done recently, for my new home studio. I wanted to aim for a 'wet' classic 80's snare sound, and chose this classic track to jam along too, which originally had a much drier snare tone, but I think this big snare sound suits the song quite well, and was a fun song to jam along to. I chose not to play the hats in the verses, instead overdubbing the egg shaker, and playing the hats with attached tamborine for the chorus'. As always I'm proudly showcasing "Stagg Cymbals" here, along with my favored 1073 style Pre's on all drum shells, and O/H's.
